thanks again, comicfan

Cool,

And in newsgroups, it's called a "post", not a "ng email". Enjoy!

As Kelly said, they made it to the server. You might want to try using a
newsreader rather than Outlook Express for this purpose. I use Netscape
Communicator and it works fairly well, but there are other dedicated
newsreaders that may work even better.

Steve

Outlook Express IS a newsreader, and was designed as such. The original
product name (and hence the original executable name: msimn.exe) is "MS
Internet Mail & News". Granted it is not the best one - that is subject to
opinion, but it is one none-the-less.

Yeah, I know that and I find NS Communicator (also an email & news app)
to be a bit better in soem respects, but the point I meant to make is
that there are better newreaders to be had if the OP is having
difficulty using OE.

Steve

Sounds reasonable to me Steve. I only meant to contest the line: "You might
want to try using a newsreader rather than Outlook Express for this
purpose", which implies that OE is not a newsreader. Had you stated "You
might want to try using a newsreader other than Outlook Express for this
purpose", then I would have not responded as I believe that to be a valid
point.

"You might want to try using a newsreader" "I use Netscape Communicator"

You're joking, right?
