Everytime I start up my computer I get a window message
that reads: Windows cannot open this file.
File: TFTP212
To open this file, Windows needs to know what program
created it....etc

Does anybody know why my computer does this and how to
stop it?

"Trustworthy Computing" is only another example of an Oxymoron!
"Produkt-Aktivierung macht frei!"

go to start> all programs > startup > delete the junk TFTP
icons.....

This sounds awfully similar to the way I've read that the blaster worm
announces its presence (newsgroup quote below). Have you taken any
steps to avoid it?

From a post by Jonathan Johnson:
Here are the symptoms of the virus:

1) When Windows starts up, you may get an error message which says
that a file name "TFTP" (or something similar) cannot be found. The
filename will have a random number at the end. For example, mine was
"TFTP2434".

2) After Windows has been running for a few minutes, the following
error message occurs:
"This system is shutting down. Please save all work.
This shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
service terminated unexpectedly."
