Hi, it's me again

I'm still looking for the Microsoft Excel Textures Files.

The reason I need to find this file is that we have a
software build on Excel that, somehow , look for that
file (and of course use the textures stored in it). Now
my problem is that I would like to add new textures in
the file (if that is possible of course). That is why I
need to know exactly where I can find the Microsoft Excel
Texture Files (and under what names will I find it).

In other word I need to know those info:

Name of the file is : Textures.something
Path: C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Office\Office10...

Of course I know that if I want to use the texture I can
use either:
When I saw the textures dialog, there is a button that's
labelled "other
texture...".
When I clicked on that, I got a dialog that accepted all
(almost all?) picture
file formats.
So .jpg, .bmp and all those are acceptable.
OR

I usually use them *after selecting* an object, then
click the small down arrow next to "Fill Color", and
choose "Fill Effects", and then click the "Textures"
tab.

BUT this is not what I need ... I really need to know the
name of the file in which the texture are stored. And,
second, where I can find that file (in which directory).

Something I forgot to tell, I'm using Office XP.

I hope that someone will be able to answer that question,

Thanks for your help,

Stephane Pelletier

For the first and second post, please look for Texture
Files, around Mar 9 2004 12:48 PM and Mar 9 2004 2:40 PM.

Hi Stephane,
Not familiar with Texture files but from your description you are
looking for something on your machine did you try file search
on your Start menu.
search for files: *texture*
look in: (local harddrive c: )
I come up with hits pertaining to PhotoDraw
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\PhotoDraw\CONTENT

PhotoDraw came in one version of Office.(Disk 4, Microsoft Office 2000).

Don't know if that helps or not but it would be a lot better to
keep your questions in your thread. Then
everyone sees things together and perhaps less
need of repeating things; and a search of
the Google Groups archives would be more productive
for those looking for answers that are solved by your
question and the answers that followed.

Thanks David ,

Dont know if it will give me what I need but I will try.
Again thanks ...

Stephane
