Textbox in a menu..

Hello!
Is it possible to put a textbox into a toolbar menu?
like the one used in Access MDI window to "Type a question for help"..

It's not a good idea because it is not a standard user interface practice.

While you can build some very cool and complex menus by simply drag and drop
in "customize" mode, the addition of "text" boxes requites that you add the
menu control via code....

So, for the most part you don't need code to add menu items...but for your
case...you do...

It does however conserve space on your form. For example, I have a full
screen calendar form on which different data can be displayed in each day of
the calendar. The calendar is totally driven from a menu at the top of the
screen to change the year, to change the month, to select a specific entity
that the data in the calendar is for and to print a calendar report. The
calendar menu contains combo boxes and buttons.

Look through the Help file for Commandbars Controls to see how controls are
programatically added to a toolbar.
