Text Wrap on Three Sides

I can't get text to wrap on the top, left-side and bottom if I have what FP
2002 call a "Caption" underneath a graphic. Is there a trick to this,
absolute positioning, etc? Thanks for any help.

How are you applying this caption?

If you surrounded the picture with a table, and then gave
the table a caption, you need to right-align the table,
and not the picture.

FWIW, the usual way of captioning pictures is to creatate
a one-column, two row, zero-border, autosized table, then
put the picture in the top cell and the caption in the
bottom cell.

Thanks. I did try your "usual way" suggestion and that worked but only if
the table was aligned with the top row of text. When I tried to move the
table down one row (one line of text), the table stayed in place and so did
the caption but a gap appeared between the first and second row of text as
if I had started a new paragraph. I'm still not getting it the way it should
look.
 
That page looks very nicely laid out but I'm still wondering if it's
possible to wrap text on three sides (yours has two) with a caption below.
Is that possible to do with FP 2002 and no gaps between rows (lines) of
text?
 
Did you see the 4th example (which I just added)?

In order to see the text wrap around all 3 sides, resize you browser window
to about 600 pixels wide.

you could open your image in a graphics editor, extend the "canvas" on the
bottom enough to type your caption. this way your caption would be within
the image and you can easily wrap text around it by just aligning the
picture to the right.

You have to modify your image in a image application to have extra
background around the image, as with my example, this background is white,
then the caption text is added to the image while in the image application.

Also see Chris Leeds reply to your post.

When you move a table inside a paragraph, FrontPage has a habit of
inserting extraneous paragraph breaks. That is, it inserts a </p>
before your <table> tag, and a <p> after your </table> tag.

If you go into HTML view, delete the </p> that precedes your <table>
tag, and delete the <p> that follows your </table> tag, you should be
OK.
