Text to Speach

Depending on the version of MS Word you have, yes or no.

In Word 2003 (and XP, I believe) Tools->Speech will try to set up Speech to
Text, but you can bypass that (if you're not interested in it) and set up
Text to Speech. VERY HANDY for proofreading!
