First of all, let me explain my problem! My computer was doing some CRAZY
things last week. Anyway, I changed some setting, and now my files text is in
blue. I don't know what i did, but i got some great advice from the Newgroup.
Oh, and another thing i would like to rewrite my computer. I mean to start
over.

The blue color means those files have been compressed. Use XP's Help and
look for "compressed files" for an explanation.

I assume that "rewrite my computer" means to clean install Windows. How you
do this will depend on whether you have an OEM machine (Dell, HP, Sony,
etc.) or a generic with an XP installation disk. Which do you have?

Then follow the instructions that came with your Dell. Returning it to
factory condition depends on the reinstall options you selected when you
bought the machine. If you can't find the paperwork that came with your
Dell, look on their tech support website for your specific model machine.
