Dave

When I create a flowchart (programming), I put YES and NO text box's on the
sheet. For my background I simply select a range of cells and merge them.
Using the default white background and black text, the borders of the text
box's is invisible (which is what I want). However, I don't like a white
background.
When I change the background to black and the text color to bright green,
the text box's now have a bright green border. How do I make the border
invisible (transparent) or change it to match the background so it's not
visible ?

Dave,

With your text box selected, use Format - AutoShape (either right-click, or
the Format menu item) - Colors and Lines tab. There you can set the
background color, and the border color (Line color box). Then use the Font
tab, and you can set the text color, too.

You're probably already aware of these, but you can connect your autoshapes
with Connectors (Autoshapes - Connectors). They'll stay connected to the
boxes even when you move them around.

The Yes/No box, or any question box, is generally a diamond, isn't it. You
can put text in any autoshape.

Thanks so much !
