Text based logon

I am getting a graphical logon screen with icons for the users but the
screen is too small to display all the users so I was planning to
change to a text based logon or something similar but I am not sure
which components I need to change to do this.

Lee,

Can't tell you from the head, but you can use regmon.exe to see what registry entries are changed when you on XPP go to "User
Accounts" and disable check box called "Use Welcome Screen"

Clear "Show Friendly Winlogon" option (cmiLogonEnableFriendlyUI extended property).
