We are trying to print with a lexmark e240 printer via a parrallel cable on
our PC via a Remote Desktop Connection to another PC and the printer never
appears on the PC we are trying to remote. We've enabled the printing option
in Remote Desktop which is part of Windows XP. We are able to do this with
any older model printer just fine, IE and HP LJ6, LJ 2100, etc but not with
the E240. Have you heard of this issue before do you have a fix. We assume
because the printer is a newer model it is in some way an all in one printer
of some sort. We've found that all in one printers are not able to print via
a Remote Desktop Connection unless you make some registry changes to disable
the all in one capabilites (as highlighted in the this Microsoft Article
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=302361 ). We've tried this fix but it
does not resolve the issue. Any help would be appreciated.
