If you are using the delete function in internet properties, have you tried
to delete them from windows explorer. In explorer you need to show hidden
files and folders then go to "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files" from there you should be able to select
and delete all the temp internet files.
Close all instances of IE and OE.
Start | Run | Type: inetcpl.cpl | OK |
On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files.
Check the box Delete all offline content.
Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the
temporary internet files.
You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that
websites have placed on your hard drive.
also go under tools internet options setting make the cache size less than
10mb check the top box every visit. then go to advanced scroll to the bottom
where it says empty temp folder when browser is closed
