Temporary Internet files folder

Internet Options > Settings. Under Temporary Internet
files folder, there is a Current location. It is blank
and won't let me move folder or change amount of disk
space - get an error msg.

This is why I think my pc's internet connection is very
slow. Not sure why it went blank or how to fix. Win XP w/
IE 6 SP1

Hi,
Try this:
Look for the TIF folder at [C:\Documents and Settings\username\ Local
Settings\ Temporary Internet Files]

If it's there, delete it (see: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm )
Restart. A new TIF folder will be created.
