I am using Office 2003 and windows XP professional. When
I get an attachment in outlook and open it in word, a
temporary file is created. When I click on SAVE AS in
word, I see that there are a whole bunch of files in the
temporary folder - the drop down box tells me it is in
My Documents & Settings
- my user folder
- local
- temporary INternet
- OLKA99
This folder also contains excel attachments. However, I
cannot find this folder - I have done search, looked in
the directory, tried in safe mode, etc but cannot find it
to empty it - the only way I can delete files is to delete
each one - one at a time - when I have a file open that I
received as an attachment.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Start by clearing TEMP INTERNET FILES via Control Panel|INTERNET
OPTIONS|Delete Files. If that doesn't do the job, check back here.
