I have two questions:
1- Why am I getting thousands of temporary files every
day? In order for me to keep a virus out of my computer,
I have to clean out temporary files daily. (Don't ask me
why, because I just am not smart enough to give you an
answer). I cleaned it out yesterday (Sunday, May 2) and
this morning (Monday, May 3) there were over 14,000
temporary files in my pc. Can anyone tell me where they
come from and how I can avoid getting so many of them.
2- Since I installed Windows xp Upgrade, home edition,
my computer does not want to shut down. I get an end task
box and when I click on end it just goes back and starts
the closing process all over with the end tax box. Often
I have to his ctl-alt-delete to shutdown my pc. Anyone
have any ideas?
I am not that astute when it comes to computers but I do
need mine as I earn money from it.
Thank you for any advice, help or suggestions,

Q1: Are you talking about Internet temp files of just temp files. Where
do you find these files, what are they called.

Q2: What process/task does not end and pops up with the End task button?

You must be downloading a lot of porn!

Just kidding. These are probably temporary internet files. IE will manage
them for you - you don't have to delete them. You can change the capacity of
this holding area: IE/Tools/Options/General/Temporary Internet
Files/Settings.
