I gave it a shot on my soft-modded 9500, not sure if I see any
difference or not in my 3D sims.

Remember it will look *worse* unless you maintain framerates higher than
the refresh rate. It looks like a bogus feature to me.

Same here on a 9700Pro. Either I haven't got it working properly, or it
makes no obvious difference.

Enabling SSAA in their drivers would make a much more obvious difference.
For a start you'd be able to tell by the fact your frame rate took a nose
dive
