When using/changing styles in a template, and with the "Format Settings"
dialog box is open,l what does the "Save Settings in Template" feature
(bottom of the dialog box) do???

When you create a new document in Word, Word uses a template (normal.dot or
normal.dotm unless you specify something different). When you make a change
to a style, that change ordinarily affects only the current document. If you
choose Save Settings in Template, then the style definition in the template
is changed, as well. This means that the style change will be used in all
new documents based on that template.
