Templates that wont open

I have several templates that i can not open in word..
the exts are......

PUB and wdb

can I change the ext to open them or do i need a differant program to open
them??

I need help..as i need these ASAP..

Word can open Word templates. PUB and WDB are not Word templates. Changing
the extensions won't help. You need to open them in whatever application was
used to create them, save in a format the Word can handle, and go from
there.

..pub files are created by Microsoft Publisher and cannot be opened by any
other application. I believe that .wdb is a Works database; you may be able
to open that in Access or Excel.

PUB is also used for PrintPerfect Gold templates. Doubt that helps any.
