Hello all - I've got a custom template in Word XP - It is the top level of a numbered list. The formating is correct and the template works on all other machines. However, on this one machine when it is employed the format kicks in correctly and then the top level format suddenly jumps to the right. It should be centered. Upon inspection, I see that for some reason I cannot follow, a tab command of 2.25 has been added. It does not exist on the template. And as I say, this template is working correctly on 99% of the computers correctly
Running Win XP pro/Word XP /Norton AntiV
Any ideas?

See if there's an autoopen or autonew macro in normal.dot of the errant
machine and if there is, investigate what it is doing.
What is the paragraph style of the errant paragraph in the template? Is it
based on some other style? Base it on no-style so it cannot be influenced by
that other style.
