I'm trying to re-format a document by attaching a new template. The new template contains the same styles but with different definitions and I'm updating the styles. I'm having two problems:

1) The margins are different in the two templates, but when I attach the new template, the margins don't change.

2) I have a horizontal line (a line drawn using the Draw feature). It's black in one template, but blue in the other. This doesn't change when I attach the new template. I've tried (on a whim) attaching a style to the line in both templates. (I'd never heard that you could do this, but it seems to take the style.) Nevertheless, the line doesn't change color.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ellen
