I am at a loss to find any practical assistance from
Microsoft, so am asking the community:
need to download a template (#8371 blank for Avery 10-up
business cards) to 'drop in' custom designed (Adobe
Photoshop)card which bleeds to black on all 4 sides (2in x
3.5in). Any assistance will be most welcome and greatly
appreciated.

Business cards are treated by Word as labels (a specially formatted table).
Try the envelope & label wizard options which should show your blank. Create
a new document to have the most control over your formatting.

I use the Avery Wizard. My experience is that Avery
templates are easier to use than the templates in Word.

If you only want #8371, it can be found on the same page.

good luck!

Avery Wizard is unnecessary and can cause minor problems (I seem to recall,
long time since I used). Word comes with the Avery setups built in using the
Options button on the label wizard.

Heh, the exact opposite is true for me.
Word comes with the Avery setups built in using the
Options button on the label wizard.

Honestly, I have the WORST time using Word to do simple
Avery tasks - I've never been successful! It's just plain
easier for me to use the Avery Wizard, because it works
right the first time for me.
