Template email duplicating signature

I have noticed in Outlook 2003, when you create a template email it
duplicates your autosignature when you open the template you have created.

Is there any simple way to correct this problem? I am not entirely IT minded
so a simple solution would be best - but I guess I may have to get my IT
department to remedy this if it is too complex. But they have told me that
there is nothing that can be done.

Any help will be much appreciated.

if the template contains the signature, then turn off the autosignature feature

But that means I will have to turn off the autosignature every time I want to
use a template. Is there not a more practical solution?

Or edit the template to remove the signature it contains.
