Temp probe

Building a P4C 800 Delux. Has anyone installed a temp. sensor under the CPU
and was there any problems? Have the Thermaltake X with temp. sensor.

Under the CPU? IIRC, the Thermaltake instruction says to
place the temperature sensor on the underside of the heat
sink but adjacent to the position of the CPU where it is
inserted into the socket. OTOH, the Asus Probe is capable
of taking a direct reading based on a diode sensor built
into the CPU and this is probably more accurate.
