Telnet

Hi, i tried to telnet to my brothers computer using telnet someName 25, this
came up with a blank black screen and when i clicked a button the screen just
closed.

both have windows xp, xp firewall disabled and still it never worked. any
ideas?

Is this telnet service running?

You might want to consider something more secure like SSH, though..
