Hi People
can any one advise me on this task, I about to install a router, as my
present system using network cards is slow, and telewest instant support tool
has disabled my networking (they don't suport networking) this is the reason
I'm using a router, which will hopefully fix this, question is do i need to
remove the cards or just disable them before using router, any advice would
be gratefull

If you remove, or disable, the network cards you won't be able to connect
to the router. The router is connected to the computers by running CAT5
patch cords from the router ports to the network cards.

hi norman
need to go into detail, I have 3 pcs, all networked, 3 network cards on
master pc , do I need to keep the 2 cards I used to make home network. I know
I have to keep 1 on the master for the hub connection and also to the other 2
pcs, it was just needing the knowhow of the 2 cards on the master and also do
i need to clean all machines of present config, before applying the hub, as
the hub does the new settings via the software.
