I am looking for independent reviews on advantages of implementing XP as a
standard OS in an organization.

Does anyone has any case studies or URL which might be useful.

The question is a bit general to be practical.
Actual sounds more like some sort of test/quiz/class question.

Can you be more specific on what you are trying to do, what information you
really need?
In simplest terms - homogeneous setups are always easier to manage.
 
Well we are planning to deploy XP platform regionally in our organization. I
understand the benefits of SOE across the organization. At the moment I am
writing a report and would like to refer some independent resources and would
like to know if any organization faced problems in such a deployment and how
did they rectify it.
