Tech info Stop Code

Hi,

My computer crashed while I was trying to connect external USB hard drive, I
was got time to write down part of the message before it turned off.

The Message: Stop: 0x0000004E ( 0x0000008E, 0x0000BCFE, 0x0000BCOE,
0x00000000 )

I know that there is ahardware problem but can somebody explaine me exactly
these codes mean?

MS Article ID: 291806 although perhaps not exactly the same msg as you
recive, may offer a sollution
