How do I change the tcp window size on Windows XP
Professional? I had set the following registry entries and
it seems to have no effect:
HKLM/system/CurrentControlSet/TCPIP/Parameters

TCPWindowSize DWORD 8192

I had also set the GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize parameter.

I even tried to put it under adapterid key.

DOS FTP does not seem to have any effect on the configured
registry entry for TCP Window Size. Any idea?

I appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Please check www.speedguide.net for information. They have a
utility named DrTCP that makes this setting ver easy. They also
have a TCP/IP Analyzer on their Web server that shows you what
your computer actually does.
