I recently purchased aa Compaq iPAQ and installed
ActiveSyn to communicate with it on my office PC an a
laptop at home. Everythin worked for a while. Then
because of problems with the iPAQ I did a hard restart of
the iPAQ. When I went to reinstall programs from the
laptop the handheld and laptop could not communicate and
I got the messafe TCP/IP network transport protocol is
not installed. I tried to install it but apparently
failed. My wife shares the laptop and installed HotSync.
Are they competing? How do reestablish communication?

Hotsync is for the Palm OS, Not PocketPC's
