TCP/IP Network

I upgraded to McAfee 8.0 and I got this erros message that says "The TCP/IP
network transport is not installed" I uninstalled McAfee and I still get the
error message. Anyone know how to fix my problem. Thanks so much.

Hockeyman,

I know quite a few people whose eyebrows rise when they hear
"McAfee".

I suspect your Winsock is now damaged.

For good measure I would run a spyware scanner like SpyBot
(www.spybot.info). Then I would follow the advice in
http://www.michna.com/kb/wxnet.htm on how to repair the Winsock.
