Does anyone know how to create a new task using Windows Mail or Vista like
you could do in Outlook? I'm not talking about scheduling tasks, like
applications, to run automatically - just a to-do list. Thanks

Does Windows Calendar have the capability to do recurring tasks like Outlook
2003? If so, how? It is not immediately obvious to me.

The Details Pane is shown. The available options are the Task Description,
Task Information (including a check-box for Completion, Priority, Start and
Due Dates), and a Reminder and Notes section.

I cannot find anywhere in the Details tab where I can make a Task recurring
(e.g. Every Week on Friday).

Please help.

Make sure Details pane is showing.
Click New Appointment.
Click the down arrow for Recurrence

We're disconnected on the feature I'm questioning.

You are talking about recurring APPOINTMENTS, but I am talking about
recurring TASKS. If you click "New Task" there does not appear to be
anywhere to make the task recurring.

A recurring TASK is what I'm looking for, but I have not yet found.

Nope. I can't find it either.

Oops, sorry. I was thinking about appointments.

If you use Thunderbird, the Lightning calendar add-on has recurring Tasks.
Sunbird may also, but I haven't gotten it to work yet to test.

Hello,
does anyone know to achive (not delete) a completed task so it is not shown
any more in the task list after it has been completed?
thanks
