I use Microsoft Outlook 97 at work; it has an excellent
feature called 'tasks' which you can customize to remind
you at any time when things need your attention, like
call that person, order that product, blah blah blah. I
have XP Home on my home computer and only have Outlook
Express installed - without installing MO'97, is this
same feature available on XP Home, or is there a special
program I can download to have this feature. (this is
nothing to do with scheduled tasks)
Any feedback appreciated ...

Hi

You will have to install Outlook via the Office setup program - Outlook Express hasn't got the same feature.

Microsoft Outlook 97 is an older version. It's since been
superseded by Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002.

No, it doesn't come with XP Home, and no version of Outlook has
ever come with any version of Windows (Outlook Express, which
*does* come with Windows, is a very different program). It's
commercial software for sale, and is not legally available for
download.

You can buy Outlook either alone or as part of Microsoft Office.
