Tasks fields (this is a duplicate post from programming newsgroup)

Is there an easy way to search all fields within Task list, including user
defined fields? I'm not a programmer, just thought someone here might be able
to help. I want the admin staff to be able to just pop open a search without
having to know which field it's in. I saw Advanced Find, Advanced tab, but
that's too complicated for most people to comprehend.

Please help. I figure a macro or something can be used to help, but I'm
clueless with that.

Okay, so my question didn't get answered in either newgroup. Now it's buried
several pages deep. I don't expect an answer now. I'll wait a couple and
repost in this newsgroup.
