Hope someone can help

1). Is there a way of setting a default for new tasks to be marked private,
rather than having to remember to do this each time
2). Is there a way of asking for an "are you sure" before deleting a task -
currently it is set up that if I hit delete it goes straight away with no
chance to undo if there is an error

thanks
Simon

1) There is no native way to do this. It might be possible to do this when
you use VBA to initiate a new Task item and then set the property. You can
then create a new Task button which launches the code. You might want to
check with the developers down the hall for any hints if you are not
familiar with VBA or take a look at http://www.outlookcode.com

2) When you delete a Task it will move to the Deleted Items folder. You can
hit the Undo button to directly restore the item when deleting was your last
action within the Outlook session. Personally I don't delete tasks but have
my view set to hide tasks which are marked as completed.

Ok - many thanks for your reply
