There must be a setting somewhere in XP Professional that makes the taskbar
transparent, but I can't find it. Where is it, and how to I set it to be
50% transparent?

Thanks in advance

Roger

Certain video cards allow this to be changed. I have an NVIDIA GeForce3
card that allows this. You might check the website for your video card.

Thank you both for your suggestions...but I want to tweak the setting
myself. I used to have an NVidia card in here, and seeing the utilities
out there told me that there is a setting somewhere. Where is it?

In my computer you go to Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, GeForces3.
Find where to enable all options. One of the options was to set
transparency of the task bar. I tried it but stopped using it because it
made the taskbar icons look like crap.
