Taskbar problems

Help needed!! For no apparant reason if I minmise a programme it no longer
goes down to the task bar. I therefore have no idea what programmes I have
open unless I use the alt tab buttons. Doe any one else have this problem?
How do you fix it?

Read the information at the top of the page.

Scroll down to Line 240, left side, "programs aren't minimized in the Taskbar". Click this link to download the .vbs file. Double click the file to run the fix.

I cannot tell you how many hours I have spent trying to research this issue
without any result beyond several dozen new gray hairs. I stumbled on this
site and found Matt's question and the responses. ****THANK GOD****

My taskbar buttons are back and I'm on my way to the drugstore to buy some
hair coloring and all will be well once again!!!!!
