In my taskbar, Customized Start, menu I have "0" programs appearing and
I have unchecked to show my Internet and Email preferences. What I
have done is manully create the list of programs that I use ofter.
Works fine.

Now the question. I just got a new computer and want to move that list
to the other computer. Is this list of programs somewhere that I have
access to?

Thanks

Shawn

That "list" of yours is only shortcuts to the actual program files. If
the programs aren't installed, all you have are broken links.

And even if the programs are already installed, AND you copy the links
over then they won't work unless all the programs are installed in
exactly the same locations on both PCs.

Shawn,

Use the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" (migwiz.exe) available in
Windows XP, and backup the "Taskbar" settings from your existing computer.
Then apply the settings to the target computer. Start Menu configuration /
Pin list / MFU entries / Taskbar toolbar settings are transferred as well.
