taskbar at shutdown

When I shut down my computer the taskbar pops up a couple of times which
slows down the shutdown. Why is this happening? Can I fix it? My computer
at work doesn't do this.

Something is running in the background that is refusing to shut down
gracefully. Most often that "something" is malware, so make sure your
computer is completely clean. See:
