Task Scheduler Error

Script Error occurs when scheduling an event with Task
Scheduler.

Error Code: "0x8007007a: The data area passed to a system
call is too small."

Using NEW Dell computer with XP Home; McAfee Antivirus
will not do scheduled scans or downloads.

McAfee says solution is a hot-fix patch, reference
article Q812400 and Q812960 which must be obtained from
Microsoft.

Unable to find location for obtaining the patch.
Suggestions Please?

McAfee well aware of this problem and says Microsoft also
aware of problem.

as for the other can't seem to find it either way, maybr
the one will help or direct you to another.
