Beth

I am attempting to schedule tasks on my computer. After
following the wizard or creating a task from
the "file", "new", I have gone through the entire process
for a task only to receive an error message naming the
specific error as 0x80070005. Microsoft has sent me an
hotfix, but I am still receiving the error message and am
unable to schedule any tasks. Where do I go from here?

Beth - this happened to me and I found this fix by trial and error.
The error message is unhelpful because it doesn't point you in the
direction of the solution.

Under Scheduled Tasks, double click the name of the program you are
trying to run to bring up the dialog box.
Select the Task tab
Ensure that the box "Run only if logged on" is checked (the other box
should already be checked)

Let me know if this works (it worked for me!)
