task manager

my sons computer says the taskmanager has been disabled by the administrator and wont work so i need some help on how to make it work again?? we have windows xp and he is the only user and therefore is the administrator but we cant get it up and running again so there for cnrtl + alt + delete doesnt work, just puts up a message to say it is disabled

There is various viruses and trojans out there that cause the Task Manager
to be disabled. Run a updated virus scan. Jym

I am having the same problem, although nothing comes up when I press

CNTR-ALT-DEL. Is there another way to see the task manager? Thanks.

have done virus scan but task manager still wont work, any more suggestion

Run another scan . Your present virus software may not pick up all the
trojans out there. I've been there done that. Try this free online scan. Jym
