when I open task manager it ope ns is a smaller box with less info. I know
the problem is user error because a week ago it us to open sith all the usual
tabs at the top, I then pressed a button and now it comes up with (I think)
only programmes open. Please help me.

Thanks for your help but the link shows a picture of the task manager
performance screen and not the processes screen. The main difference is there
is not a red tab on the top right hand side.
Cheers

Double-click on the Task Manager window border to toggle it back into
full display mode.

Good luck

It's in Tiny foot print mode. Double click on a border.

It sounds like you're running Task Manager in "Small Footprint
Mode." Simply double-click anywhere along the top or side borders to
return to a normal view. Alternatively, pressing <Ctrl>+<Tab> will
allow you to cycle between the various displays, and <Alt>+<F4> will
close it.
