After installing SP2 I noticed a strange and annoying
problem. If I open Task Manager there is no way to close
it. No X in the upper right corner, No ability to right
click the start menu bar with options, NADA. Has anyone
got a solution to this? It would be greatly appreciated.

Open Task Manager and double-click anywhere on the top Window border.
Somehow, you managed to convert Task Manager to run in "Tiny Footprint Mode".

Carey,
I would like to thank you for your help. I have asked this
question in several forums over the last few days and no
one could give an answer. But your answer was right on the
money. I don't know how I did it but it was my own doing.
At least it's ok now. Thanks again for the assist.

Perhaps the reason your question was not immediately answered was that this
question is asked many times in these newsgroups every week. It's a good
practice to review previous posts before posting a question of your own, to
see if the same question has already been asked and answered.
