Task manager has a virus!

Is task manager eesntial to operations? Is it safe to
delete the entire folder form IE? Unable to isolate the
registry where virus is at.( Trojan) No know fix from
Norton at this time.

Deleting the Task Manager is not the way to deal with these type of
problems,
You have to install software like Ad-Aware from Lavasoft
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ or Spybot from
http://www.safer-networking.org/
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?lang=en&page=knowledgebase/threats
or any other you prefer but these are among the most recommended...
