I'm trying to send a task out and when I "send" I get the message that "the
task is not in my folder and I will not be updated when a response is made
unless I move it to may task folder" How do I do this? I'm sure it's very
simple but I'm drawing a blank here.... tks

Are you creating the task in your default Tasks folder or another task
bearing folder?

I've tried creating the task from all the task folders and I get the same
message each time.

I have "tasks in archive folders", "tasks", "Mary's tasks" and "Dick's
tasks". How many do I need for a two person operation? These were set up by
the computer tech when he installed officecalendar. I think I might have
found my problem though ...I think I need to start the task when I am in the
calendar folder, not in the task folder, and then it doesn't give me the
error message. Is this right? tks for your help.

Sounds like you're actually creating the task in the Tasks folder via the
Taskpad that shows in the Calendar folder. I'd guess that those tasks should
show up in the folder you've listed as "Tasks". The archive one is where old
tasks get auto-archived to while the other two are a mystery to me but may
be understandable to you (Mary & Dick being people in your office, I guess)
