Task deletion in Outlook

When a "Task" is deleted in Outlook it seems as if this is a permanent deletion. If a user deletes a "Task" it does not get recycled to either the Outlook "Deleted Items" folder or the "Recycle Bin". This is inconsistent with normal Office procedure.

Suggest that all Outlook functions (Email, Tasks, Calendar....etc) follow the norm, in that if an item is deleted it gets sent to the "Deleted Items" folder. Currently this only seems to happen to email deletions.

Of course there may be some option that I have not "ticked" but I certainly cannot find it so currently anything that I delete - except for emails - is a permanent deletion.

What about if you mark it complete rather than deleting it and then filter
them?

New! Use the Task Manager 2005 add-in to securely manage all your team tasks
and
create customizable task reports.Download at:

P.S. I know that with Task Manager 2005 Outlook task synchronization you can
take database snapshots to restore deleted tasks, but that's not quite the
same as a recycle bin I agree.
