One this I find strange:
XPe is installed on the C drive but the 'Windows Embedded Data' and 'Windows
Embedded Images' are installed on the E drive.

The E drive is used for Windows XP Pro (32-Bit).

Just curious, Peter !
As for the Itanium version, one had to specify platform=IA64, I wonder
whether X64 embedding required platform=AMD64, or platform=X64.
I am actually interested in RAM Boot [SDI] version of XPE 64-bit for dual
Opteron platform [general purpose XPE, not vertical market].
Which build did you use ?

Thanks
Christopher

Hi Chris,

What are you talking about?
There is no XPe version made for 64-bit processors.

Slobodan

Hi Chris,
How is WinPE different from XPE ?

Wrong question.
Right question is how old Windows XP is different from Windows XP for 64 bit processors?

Second version is compiled for 64 bit processors. And XPe is based on non 64 XPP version.

Slobodan
