Mike - EMAIL IGNORED

I run tardis2000 on my win2k boxes to keep
their time accurate. Is see on my new winXp
laptop that there is a built in ntp capability.
Looking more closely, it appears that it
checks the web once per week -- not often
enough for accurate time. I could:

1. Find a way to make it check more often.
I have not found it. Does it exist?

2. Install tardis2000, whose documentation
indicates that it runs with winXp. In
this case, should I uncheck the the winXp
net time capability?

3. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Mike.

In most cases, it is.

In the registry, search for "specialpollinterval". It defaults to the
decimal value 604800, the number of seconds in seven days. It can be
edited there to whatever you want.

If you like Tardis 2000, use it. I have been using it without problem with
XP Home SP2.
