Hi
Could anyone please tell me how I can find information on how to take the back off my tower, as I want to (at a later date) install more memory, I took two screws out the back of the tower, I did not unscrew the coolant fan, as I knew it would just fall out, the thing is I cannot see anymore screws to take out, the name of my tower is Qtech, I have looked through the manual, but no joy, do I try to prize it off. I don't want to ruin it by trying to force it. Please could somone offer my some advice, or even a web address
Thanking you really load

Once you've removed the screws in the back, the SIDE of the tower slides
off, usually the left side if you're looking at the front. Be very very
careful if you're not sure what you're doing. Watch that you don't
discharge static electricity while working. If you're at all unsure,
pay someone to add the ram and make sure that Windows runs properly
after the install. You might wind up back here screaming "help -- my
computer won't start."

.
If you cannot open your tower case you have no biz
adding ram Take your pc to the shop.

Yes, just undo the screws and the side will slide back towards where the
screws were. When adding the RAM check you are inserting it the right way
and that both ends "Click in" securely. It is quite easy to do. There will
be notches on the bottom of the stick of RAM that will match the notches on
the RAM socket on the motherboard. Ensure you put it in the correct way. (It
won't actually go in the wrong way due to these notches but it may damage
the RAM if forced). Hope this helps mate.

Dude, it is a piece of p!ss. Do not bother taking to a shop and get ripped
off. Just unscrew the 2 screws and slide the side panel out. The fan will
not fall out and it is an easy operation. I recently added another hard
drive to my pc and though i was a bit cautious, it was p!ss easy. Don't let
some IT bod rip you off!
