does anyone know how to take a picture (or otherwise) print exactly what is displayed on the screen? I thought I used a 'ctl'+key function before but I'm drawing a total blank. I'm trying to print exactly what is displayed on a screen. I thought I had to 'copy' it somehow then 'paste' it on the notepad ... or maybe in 'draw'??...TX!

Usually...print screen or Alt+print scree

If you do lots of screenshots, I suggest SnagIt from http://www.techsmith.co
It's really terrific and lets you grab menus and all sorts of stuff that you can't do with Windows print screen

Oh! 24/7: I didn't realize...

After you print screen or alt+print screen, it copies it (invisibly) to the Windows clipboard. All you need to do is go to Word and hit Paste

Just a quick word about the difference:

Print Screen captures the whole screen, whereas ALT+Print Screen
captures the active window only.
