Can anyone shed any light.

One of our users is having problems opening anything in
Outlook - email, calendar etc. They eventually open after
4-5 minutes and the CPU usage during this time is 99%. She
is attached to our corporate LAN and all other programs
work fine across the LAN. Nobody else is having the
problem and when she accesses her mail from another
computer it works fine. I have checked all TCP/IP settings
and DNS - all OK. We have tried running repairs on
Outlook - but no difference. This started suddenly and we
know of nothing that has changed.
Has anyone experienced anything like this ??

Many thanks

Tina

Try turning off the "Instant Messaging"

Open the TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS...
Select the OTHER tab

Turn off the check mark next to "Enable Instant Messaging
on Microsoft Outlook"

What version of Outlook? If Outlook 2002 (XP) select Tools | Options | Other
and ensure the option for instant messaging integration is not selected. If
it is, uncheck it and restart Outlook.
